Rules & Regulations

The library will be kept open for borrowers from 8.00 am to 6.00 pm on all working days.
The issue counter will be kept open daily from 8.30am to 4.00 pm alternately for 1st and 2nd year students.
Person desirous of using the library shall enter his name and branch legibly in the Gate Register.
Bags & other personal articles shall be deposited at the property counter and not to be brought into the library.
Silence shall be strictly observed, indiscipline can not be tolerated.
No person shall be allowed to write, damage, make mark or underlie on any book, other materials belonging to the library.
Two books will be issued to each student.
Six books will be issued for each faculty member.
No reference books will be issued to students and faculty members.
Loose sheet of white papers only are allowed into the reference section.
Note books will not be permitted into the reference section.
Any misuse of the library account leads to default and the defaulter will be black listed.
In case a book is missing the borrower has to pay the double the cost of the book with fine.
Borrowers shall be required to renew their books once in every 15 days, else fine will be collected from them Re 1/- per day for every book.
Any one who violates the rules and regulations of the library would be liable to loose the privilege of the library membership in addition to the disciplinary action.
